Regression vs. Decision Tree
Decision tree is easier to be understood and to be implemented. Whereas managers feel more comfortable with regression models as they can see the effect of the variables and the interactions between them. I feel the same way.
Bridging the gap between the marketing department and the sales department
These two departments are operating separated, or isolated. The marketing department is currently response-driven, while the sales department is policy-driven. By introducing the customer LTV model into the transaction prcoess from the very begining, the forces of these two department can be brought back together.
